The Wayne Township Fire Department is a professional emergency services agency providing Fire Protection, Specialized Rescue Services, Hazardous Materials Response and Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Care to over 140,000 residents within 36 square miles of the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana. Annually, the department responds to almost 20,000 calls for service and provides advanced medical care to nearly 10,000 citizens. The Wayne Township Fire Department is an NFPA 1710 compliant and ISO Class 1 Rated organization, proud to serve the residents, workers and visitors of Wayne Township, The City of Indianapolis, and Marion County.
