Battalion 80 serves as the shift commander for the fire department. Each of these three battalion chiefs is responsible for their own shift. They serve as incident commander on emergency runs, human resources for staffing, and immediate supervisors for all Wayne Township response personnel. The Battalion 80 vehicle is a 2013 Ford F250 with four wheel drive. It is the response vehicle for the battalion chief and serves as the command post at all but the largest of incidents. Battalion 80 is assigned to Station 82.
