Station 83 lies in the heart of Wayne Township. The station is home to Engine 83, Medic 83, and Tactical Support Unit (TSU) 83. Station 83 also is the home of Wayne Township’s respiratory protection program and serves as the decontamination team for the Wayne Township Haz Mat Team.

Old Engine 83 is a 1996 HME 1871/Luverne Custom Pumper equipped with a 1500 GPM pump and 750 gallons of water. After almost 15 years of service, this pumper has been taken off the frontline and moved to reserve status. It will now be seen with it’s new number designation - 86R.

Tactical Support Unit 83 (TSU) is a 1994 E- One Cyclone walk-around Medium Rescue, responding across the entire department and as mutual aid to other departments, providing air, light, power, and rehab support.

Medic 83 is a 2009 Chevy 4500 / Lifeline Ambulance, responding as ALS transport unit to Station 83’s primary district.

Engine 83 is a 2010 Pierce pumper with a 2000 gpm pumping capacity. It marked in service in October of 2010, replacing the 15 year old engine that had been there.
