Station 82

Station 82, located in the heart of one of the oldest areas of the township, is also attached to the Wayne Township Government Center. As one of the largest stations in the township, four pieces of apparatus respond from this location, including the shift commander and the one half of the department’s special rescue teams.

Engine 82 is a 2007 Seagrave Marauder II Custom Pumper. It is equipped with a 2000 GPM pump, 500 gallon booster tank, and 60 gallons of foam concentrate.

Ladder 82 is a 2003 Spartan Evolution / Crimson with a 75’ R&K Ladder. This vehicle was recently refurbished and had it’s pump and main plumbing removed to increase storage capacity. It now serves as primary ladder and rescue apparatus on the township’s south and east sides.

Battalion 8 is a 2008 Chevy Suburban Command Vehicle used as the Shift Commander’s primary vehicle and as the incident command post on most standard alarms.
